Vana is a candle and skin care brand based in Taiwan, founded by the swede Robin Johansson with the idea to bring the story about Scandinavian habits to the Asian market and inspire people to relax and unwind.

I created a concept based on the idea that there's always more to tell, subtly highlighted by the asterisk in the product name which also became the symbol for the brand. The small print then tells the story about sauna bathing, the first sun rays after a long winter or the love for gardening and outdoor life.
The logotype is based on the same aesthetics and shapes as the symbol and creates a distinct yet elegant wordmark complemented with an organic font and soft serif to balance the expression.

The idea was to bring the feeling of a habit into everyone's living room, even if they're on the the other side of the planet. Creating a visual world including image style, storytelling and packaging.
